A Ray of HOPE????

Perhaps, but not anything definitive......

Sec. Rice sez: THIS ABOUT THAT!

Please, please, Condi....make us really happy by announcing you'll CONSIDER the possibility of a run!

Gallop Poll Shows Condi Strength!

A newly-released poll....not the usual type, but an actual rating on each individual candidate....Shows unexpected positive ratings for Condi Rice.

Capt. Ed writes well on the poll and its meaning at Captain's Quarters.

We have often stated on this blog that Condi brings much to the table, and offers not only less baggage than McCain and Giuliani, but also the twin cards which best take the wind out of the sails of Hillary....race and being a female.

An additional Condi positive that Hillary lacks is the world-traveling, global politics of Condi...a weak spot in the Bush regime until Condi arrived, and also a weak spot for Hillary. Condi's performance to date on the world stage has been one of strength, tremendous acceptance by world figures, and a visibility in the MSM not there for other figures during this administration.

Now, all that remains is to find a way to convince Condi that she is needed by her country in 2008!

I am depressed!

This morning I watched and listened as Condi appeared on FOX and pretty clearly announced that she was not interested in the job of President.

I saw in her face and eyes a truthfulness that makes me believe she means what she says. My only hope now is that GWB & Laura can find a way to influence her to rethink this decision.

I am really upset.....

"I Will Not Run!"

....for Commissioner of the NFL, that is.......(sorry, it was just there and I had to add this...) Fox has details in their web story...

Condi had earlier eluded to the fact she was interested in the post at some point. I sort of see her interested late-in-life.

Thus labeled, I am sure you can read that I am meandering about here in terms of my be it!

Condi is my choice for Pres candidate in 2008.....BOY is that obvious!

However, the problem we "early Condi supporters" face is, how to get her to R-U-N????

I am into the speculation part.....

Could it be that the plan is for her to surface LATER? You know, avoid the pitfalls of the Hillary, McCain, et al group of wannabees?

What if in 2007 she suddenly moves to VP vis-a-vis the departing and "living my life for now because of health problems" Cheney?

Just a supposition....but a potential anyway!

Where in The World #1

This may be the beginning of a long line of achievements by Condi Rice as she performs her job, and still maintains she is not running.....

The importance for me is....She is achieving!!!! She is capable on the world stage!!!!

Read about the latest....not from the Middle-east, but S. America....on FOX!

Go you girl!!!! My gosh is she capable, or just SuperCondi????

Hillary's Worst NIghtmare?

Dr. Walter E. Williams, an economics professor and writer delivers his column "A MInority View" at WorldNetDaily, and says Hillary is scared of Condi.

"If Condoleezza Rice threw her hat into the presidential race, it would be Clinton's worse nightmare. Ms. Rice's vision represents triumph rather than grievance. Steele says that by growing up in the segregated South, Ms. Rice might have claimed title to a grievance identity, but she's chosen the older black tradition where blacks neither deny injustice nor permit themselves to be defined by it.

Blacks like Colin Powell, Clarence Thomas and Condi Rice are of no value to modern liberalism or the Democratic Party. Why? If blacks come to embrace triumph, rather than grievance, the wound to liberal Democrats would be mortal. It wouldn't take much of a desertion of the black vote to make Democrat hopes of recapturing Washington a permanent pipe dream."

You can read the entire article at: WorldNetDaily.

Interesting take by a black professor on the impact of a strong black candidate over Hillary.
